This catalogue exists entirely out of the publishing rights of the iconic and popular track “I Love to Love”. The song, performed by the British artist Tina Charles, was originally released in 1976,, and got reissued in a remix by The DMC (Disco Mix Club) in 1986. Within the first week of its release, it became a no.1 hit in the UK, also peaking at #1 in Ireland, #2 in France, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, and Sweden, and #20, #6, and #3 in Austria, Germany, and Spain, respectively.
"I Love to Love" was a global hit that stood high up in the charts across the globe, marking Charles’ music career zenith. It reached its highest position on the Disco Singles Chart in the US and went on to win the Juno Award for best international single in Canada in 1976 after selling over 200,000 copies in Quebec. It was also used in the first and last episodes of the British television series “River”.
