ANote Music’s accelerated growth in payouts volume is visible in the latest milestone: €2 million in royalties distributed, reached shortly after the end of Q1 2026, effectively doubling the total distributions in 18 months — with €250,000 paid in the first four months of 2026 alone.

Beyond the milestone, the numbers tell the story of where the platform stands today:

  • Royalty distributions on the platform are becoming more frequent, with an average of one royalty distribution every three days.
  • This is the result of an increasing number of assets on the platform. There are now 36 music catalogues available on the ANote Music marketplace, each distributing royalties according to its own schedule, whether monthly, quarterly, or semi-annually.
  • ANote Music now collects royalties from over 20 royalty sources and players of the music industry, including national collective management organisations (CMOs), performance rights organisations (PROs), record labels such as Sony Music and Warner Music, and publishers such as Warner Chappell and Universal Music Publishing.

The best way to understand the dynamics behind the numbers is to look at them in context. In this article we break down this benchmark with a thorough look at the first months of 2026, to answer a few key questions:

  • What were the highlights of the first four months of 2026?
